THE EXPERIENCE AT PICKLED WALNUT

Here is a seven step guide to your experience in working with Pickled Walnut. It gives an overview of an outside catering event - be it in a listed building, your workplace or a marquee. Remember that whatever your event, our creative service ensures that your personality and ideas shine through.

step1 Step one - making contact
It all starts with a phone call and a chat where we take all of your details to get a good feel for your expectations and what you want for your event.
step2 Step two – getting to know us
We will send out a bespoke menu pack containing only what you have requested, we don't believe in sending menu after menu as we know you would like to get straight to the point.


step3 Step three – getting to know you
Once you have perused the menus, we will arrange for one of our experienced sales personnel to come out and visit you in your own home or work place. Here we can hold a no obligation consultation. From this we can provide an in-depth bespoke quote that will allow us to include all the things that you want and foresee. We will find out what is most important to you and devise your bespoke quote.


step4 Step four – perfecting the recipe for a successful event
We know that sometimes we need to tweak our quotes be it the menu or even the budget but one thing we can guarantee is we do listen to what you want! With this in mind, once you are happy with the event in principal, we invite you and your co decision makers in for a full and scrumptious menu tasting. Here we can explore your menu options and finalise what you want, because we strongly believe the proof of the pudding is in the eating!


step5 Step five – leading up to your event
With all the details finalised we remain in regular contact leading up to your event, with a sign off meeting at least one month prior. We want to ensure that you will be at ease and know that everything has been taken care of!


step6 Step six – time to enjoy!
The day of the event will come along quite quickly and we play our part in orchestrating the catering, making sure that we remain on time with the food logistics and in sync with all the other suppliers at your event. Remember we are here to look after you and your guests and nothing will be too much trouble! It's now time to relax and enjoy your event, safe in the knowledge that our exquisite food and excellent staff will provide you with an event for you and your guests to remember.

step7 Step seven – feedback and reflection
So the big day has come and gone and we are confident you will be very happy. But we will debrief none the less as we always speak to our customers to see how we can improve things for future functions.
